Welcome to Schultz Happenings!!

Decided we had better join the 21st century and have a blog!! This way, I can maybe stop the newsletters and post here, but the only problem with that is most people would need to #1 have a computer, #2 know we have a blog and #3 actually go to the blog and read it!!

Busy, busy, busy...that's all we are around here!! Tyler graduates in 4, yes 4 months!! So hard to believe. We are planning the party to be the same day as the graduation (May 23rd, 2009) as there will be people/family here from out of town to see the monumental event.

Shane left yesterday to go back to basic training and to see a doctor so they can figure out what to do about his broken left foot. It's pretty quiet, again, around here without him. I stayed pretty busy today doing several loads of laundry and then made two trips down to the car wash and washed both the Jeep and the truck.

Tyler is, again, in Topper Revue at the High School. It's the annual talent show with a theme that the kids put together and they have "tryouts", etc and of course Tyler and his rocker buddies got in. Shane went and saw it Friday night before he left. I will go next Saturday night for the final performance show. Kalyn says it is the "best" part of the show!!! (no prejudice there or anything!!)

Kalyn is doing well. She is going to drive us down the store here in a bit. She goes to San Diego for choir in March so she's all excited for that!! She raised a lot of money around Thanksgiving time with the See's candy sale.

Shane and I had a fun time while he was home. We took a couple of shopping trips together and saw some movies. "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" really was an awesome movie. It's hard to see another movie after that one cuz it is just so darn good!! We did go see "7 Pounds" and enjoyed that one as well. Shane and I each set up a Facebook account so go there and look for us. It's quite cool and you can catch up with so many people!!

My class reunion is officially set for August 7th and 8th!! 20 years has flown by!! I will be attending and am really excited to be going and also to see family/friends after a 4 year absence.

That's all for now. :)
